Please be advised that there will be NO drop-off or pick-up on West Morningside Avenue or Piermont Road during school start and dismissal times until further notice due to the ongoing removal of excessive snow. This closure will remain in effect until further notice.
Also please avoid stopping or standing near intersection corners for the safety of pedestrians and drivers.
Due to the recent snowstorm and the anticipated travel delays, it is important to allow extra time for cautious travel and on-time arrival to school and other events.

Cresskill School District will be closed tomorrow, February 24th, due to the extremely high volume of snow requiring additional time for removal to ensure safe arrival of students and staff to school. We look forward to reopening on Wednesday, February 25th on a normal schedule.

Due to the continued winter storm, the Board of Education meeting and building tour scheduled for tonight have been cancelled. The next Board of Education meeting will be on March 9th, 2026 at 7 PM in the EHB Media Center. The building tour of the high school will be rescheduled for a future date.

Gym Update: We have now located the source of the leak in the gym and confirmed it was due to a burst coil in our air conditioning unit. This caused a leak of cooling fluid (glycol), which can cause respiratory irritation. At this time, the unit has been fully drained, cleaned, and the gym has been ventilated. As a result, we will reopen the gym starting tomorrow, Wednesday, December 17th.

The Cresskill Board of Education needs your help as we begin the search for our next Superintendent of Schools! We look forward to your participation in our live input sessions on Tuesday, October 21 (see previous update, below) and we are also pleased to offer a completely confidential online input survey for all of our District stakeholders.
Please take a few moments to thoughtfully participate in this brief survey, which is being wholly administered by our Search Consultant, KHEC LLC, not the school district. All responses are anonymous and will be shared with the Board to determine the suitability of the candidates for the position, and to formulate interview questions.
The survey will close at 11:59pm on Wednesday, October 22.
