Dear Cresskill Families,
Please review the linked letter about our new Civility Policy as we finish our Week of Respect, emphasizing the importance of professionalism, care, and kindness for all members of our educational community. This policy will help ensure that every student, teacher, parent, and visitor feels welcome and safe within our schools and at our events.
With Care,
Dr. Hughes

Our fifth graders are being good role models for the younger students. They are putting bullying to rest and are committed to doing acts of kindness!

The Garden Club has officially started! It took no time for our gardeners to get right to work in helping to maintain our beautiful garden! Stay tuned to see the many different things our club yields this year.

Merritt Memorial School had a special visitor today! Fresh Prince from the Harlem Wizards came and taught some basketball tricks to our school! Make sure to buy your tickets to see your very own Cresskill Public School's staff take on the Harlem Wizards on the court on Tuesday, October 17th!

Happy National Custodian Day to the people that keep the building running each and everyday! Thank you for all you do!

To show how our school is unified against bullying, we ask students to dress up according to each day's theme!

Just a reminder that at 6:30 tonight is the rededication of the high school at the main entrance. All are invited to join us as we celebrate the reopening of our middle and high school after we "built back better"!

Come see our giant scissors as our town officials, board of education, and administrators officially rededicate our high school at 6:30 on Thursday evening before the high school back to school night. All are welcome to celebrate with us at the high school entrance.

Unfortunately, the Merritt Family Picnic had to be rescheduled to the rain date, Saturday, September 30th due the forecasted weather this weekend.

What's better than having the 5th grade students to lead morning announcements with the school?

Dear Parents,
In collaboration with our parent groups, we translated the health standards into Korean and Hebrew to ensure our parents can make informed decisions for participation. The new timeline for opting out of any health standards is Thursday, September 21st. The link to the translations is below.
